Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”[c] 20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 26 Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 2
1 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.[e] 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. God’s Wisdom Revealed by the Spirit 6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”[f]— the things God has prepared for those who love him— 10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[g] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 3 v4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not mere human beings? 5 What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. 10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames. 16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.1 Corinthians 4
3 I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. 4 My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart The Nature of True Apostleship 9 We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to human beings. 10 We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! 11 To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. 12 We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; 13 when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world
Day 334 --- 1 Corinthians 5-8 (read June 0,2011) 1 Corinthians 6 5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? 6 But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers! 7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[e] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6 v1But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.
Day 335 --- 1 Corinthians 9-11 ( read July 1, 2011)1 Corinthians 10 9 We should not test Christ,[d] as some of them did—and were killed by snakes (snake handlers?) 13 No temptation[e] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[f] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[g] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.20 No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons. 25 Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, 26 for, "The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it." (meat eaters / vegetarians) 29 For why is my freedom being judged by another’s conscience? 30 If I take part in the meal with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of something I thank God for? Day 336 --- 1 Corinthians 12-14 (read July 3, 2011) 1 Corinthians 12 Different people have different gifts, just like different parts of the body have different jobs 1 Corinthians 13 v4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.

Day 338 --- 2 Corinthians 1-4 (read July 4, 2011) 2 Corinthians 1 v3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God 8 We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. 9 Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. 10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, 11 as you help us by your prayers12 Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. Day 339 --- 2 Corinthians 5-9 (read July 5, 2011) 2 Corinthians 9 v.6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
Day 340 --- 2 Corinthians 10-13 (read July 5, 2011) 2 Corinthians 11 5 I do not think I am in the least inferior to those "super-apostles."[c] 6 I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge.12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Day 341 --- Romans 1-3 - Acts 20:1-3 (read July 6, 2011)Romans 1 v.26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. (homosexual) 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. (and supporters) 1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.(those who judge them)
Day 342 --- Romans 4-7 (read July 7, 2011) Romans 5 v3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us .20 The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, Romans 6 v1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[e] Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 7 v2 by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. 3 So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man. 4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law (moses/abraham law) through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. 7 What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. 21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature[i] a slave to the law of sin
Day 343 --- Romans 8-10 Romans 8-10 (read July 9, 2011) Romans 8 v1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death.16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose.31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 9 16 It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. 17 For Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.". 33 As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame." Romans 10 v9 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame."[ac] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Day 344 --- Romans 11-13 (read July 10, 2011) Romans 11: v18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.v25 Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way[e] all Israel will be saved.9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[n] Do not be conceited. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"[o] says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."[p] 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.Romans 13 v1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. 6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. 8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law
Day 345 --- Romans 14-16 (read July 11, 2011) Romans 14 1 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. 10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written: "‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’" 12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 22 So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. Day 346 --- Acts 20:4-23:35 (read July 13, 2011)"It is said to be that the author of the Gospel of Luke is the same as the author of the Acts of the Apostles.[1] Tradition holds that the text was written by Luke the companion of Paul" ~wikipediach20 v7 While Paul was talking Eutychus fell asleep and fell out an upstairs window. He lived. 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ "ch 21 Paul left on his way to Jerusalem. They begged Paul not to go to Jerusalem because it was prophesied that he would be tied up/ bound up there. In Jerusalem, Paul was attacked by mobs of people that said he had defiled the temple and was teaching against the "law". CH 22 Paul was granted permission to speak to the people so from the steps he told them how he had persecuted the christians and how God came to him and he was changed and what God wanted him to do. The people still said to to do away with him. ACTS ch 23 He was taken before the Sanhedrin court. The Pharisees found nothing wrong with him. Some of the Jews plotted to kill Paul but his sisters son overheard the plot and told the commander. He was transferred to Caesarea. He was kept under guard in Herod's palace
Day 347 --- Acts 24-26 (read July 14, 2011) Paul defends himself before Felix. Felix leaves office and leaves Paul in prison, leaving him as a favor to the jews. Paul stands before King Agrippa and tells him how he once percuted the Christians. and how a light shone around him and the others he was with and how Jesus called him to service. They decided that Paul could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.
Day 348 --- Acts 27-28 (read July 15 2011) Paul was put on a ship to Rome to stand before Caesar. A hurricane tossed the ship and it eventually ended up on a sand bar near a sandy beach. Later they found it was called Malta. God spoke to Paul on the ship and told him that they would all be alright.The islanders were kind to them from the ship. They built a fire and Paul was putting some wood on and a snake came out and bit him. The islanders said that Paul must be a murderer for this to happen to him. But when his hand didn't swell or he didn't get sick or die, they decided he must be a god. Paul healed a person there and the natives brought their sick to him and he healed them. After 3 months they borded a ship that had wintered over there. When they got to Rome there were people who had heard that Paul was coming and went to meet them. He was thankful for that. 30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. 31 He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!Finishes Acts
Day 349 --- Philemon 1 - Colossians 1-4 (read July 18 2011) Philemon 1 A letter to the Philemon telling them to take in Onesimus. Also to prepare a guestroom for himself because he was coming back in answer to their prayers. Colossians 1-4 to the holy people in Colossae. ch2 6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. 8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 21 "Do not handle! Do not taste! Day 352 ---1 Timothy 1-6 (read July 21, 2011) 1 v1 Paul v2 To Timothy. command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work. 7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.v9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. ch2 v1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives. 8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing. 9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. 11 A woman[a] should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 Paul does not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet ch3 Gives the qualifications of being a pastor and deacons and their wives in a church.ch4 says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. train yourself to be godly. 8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. 12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. 13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers. ch5 1 Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. 4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family. 8 Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.(deadbeat dads etc ?) 9 No widow may be put on the list of widows unless she is over sixty, has been faithful to her husband, 10 and is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the Lord’s people, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds.14 So I counsel younger widows to marry, to have children, to manage their homes and to give the enemy no opportunity for slander.16 If any woman who is a believer has widows in her care, she should continue to help them and not let the church be burdened with them. 23 Paul told Timothy " Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of his stomach and his frequent illnesses. ch6 False Teachers and the Love of Money 10 For the love of money is a root of all evil. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness 8 and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.v10 make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.Titus 3 v10 Warn a divisive person (divisive [dɪˈvaɪsɪv] adj 1. causing or tending to cause disagreement or dissension) once, and then warn them a second time. Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 10 Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 14 if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. 6 a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "Two pounds[a] of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" 7 fourth seal, pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2 When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke 3 And out of the smoke locusts came down on the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4 They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 They were not allowed to kill them but only to torture them for five months. 6 During those days people will long to die, but death will elude them. 7 The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. crowns of gold, human faces. 8 like women’s hair, like lions’ teeth. 9 breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. (jet planes?) 10 in their tails they had power to torment people (bombs?). 11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss(where the smoke and locust came from), whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).13 The sixth angel's trumpet, a voice coming from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God. 14 It said to the sixth angel, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." 15 And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind.18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues (volcanos?) of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths 20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. Revelation 10 The Angel and the Little Scroll 1 another mighty angel. 2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down." 5 Then the ange standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. 6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever "There will be no more delay 8 Then was told to"Go, take the little scroll from the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land." 9 So I asked him to give me the little scroll. They will trample on the holy city 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy clothed in sackcloth." 4 They are "the two olive trees" and the two lampstands, and "they stand before the Lord of the earth." 5 If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. 6 They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain, turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. 7 Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them,& kill them. 8 Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city—where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days people, will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10 The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth. 11 But after--- life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12 And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on. 13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven. The Seventh Trumpet15 The seventh angel's trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever." 16 And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying: The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, 19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

She gave birth to a son who "will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.". The child was snatched up to God's throne. The woman sent, by God, to a place he prepared tokeep her safe. War broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought the dragon. The dragon and it was Satan and was sent to earth and his angels too. The dragon the persued the women but she was givin wings like a eagle so she flew to the place out of the serpent's reach. The dragon spewed a river out of it's mouth but the earth swallowed up the river. The enraged dragon went off to wage war with the rest of her offspring....those who keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.Revelation 13 The Beast out of the Sea was once wounded but healed. The dragon gave his authoriy to the beast. The beast was given much power to wage war against God's people and conquer all of them. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life 11 second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth. 14 it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 first beast.....so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666. Revelation 14 The Lamb and the 144,0004 These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. 5 No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.The Three Angels 6 Then I saw another angel flying... proclaim to those who live on the earth— in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water." 8 A second angel followed and said, "‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries." 9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name." 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. 13 voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth,. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed 20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible. The Judgment of the Dead 11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life.
