• Busy November Beginning

  A few things going on.....
  No painting because it seems like every time I think I'm going to paint...I have to do something else. Someone else needs something more important. So I just go from day to day putting out fires so to speak.
  For instance....last week my Granddarling Scooby (age 13) got sick and had to go to the hospital. She had to have her ruptured appendix taken out. She stayed 3 days. I got to spend some time with CareBear (age 10) On the day she was discharged from the hospital my Dad called and said that my mother was in intensive care. They ran tests and her blood sugar was in the 700's. She had Ketoacidosis and Metabolic acidosis. Her iron was very low so she had a blood transfusion and iron I.V. She was in bad shape but sprang back and is home now. Dad and I stayed with her for 2 nights in ICU but she got better and Dad and Mom ordered me to go home. They are like that. Stubborn. Dad is 90 and Mom 88. I didn't want to leave but when you don't feel welcome.....you go home. Sometimes I'm not welcome there either so I spend a lot of time either gone or in my bedroom tired from being gone. Ok I'm just rambling now. Not comfortable anywhere. I'm resting. That's why I'm blogging today.
  I went to a Christmas open house for a little antique/thrift shop in my town. Is it already time for that? My daughter has her re-done furniture there. Tired now.
