December 7
I have sketched a little...painted a little...Just enough to make me want to. My parents are still able to come visit me from 50 miles away. They were here today and watched our little town parade. That's about the only thing that goes on here as a town getting together. My Scooby (age 13) is in color guard in the band so I got to see her march.
I still dream of an open studio here. Seems all that was planned for art here has fallen through.
I had an appointment with a hematologist to see why my white blood cell count was up. I'm not worried....it has been up for over a year and I figure if it is anything serious I would be having some kind of symptoms by now. The doctor said he didn't think there was anything to worry about. ...so I won't. It doesn't do any good to worry.
I painted 3 windows (a deer looking at a Christmas tree) by myself a few days ago and then my daughter and I painted windows (wise men, shepherds, Bethlehem and the nativity) at a local restaurant Friday. That was fun. It's always fun to do things with her. We usually find something so funny that both of us laugh so hard we end up crying. Of course...being at a restaurant we had to have a good meal. We had hot beef sandwiches (sliced bread with mashed potatoes and beef with gravy on top). Very good.

i love your paintings, so I very much wish I could see those windows! I bet they are pretty. I still have some of the cards with your tutu painting on them.
Are we not friends on Facebook? I put all my pictures there. L Gail Garrett @ yahoo . com
Ooh, you're making me hungry, and it's bedtime, not dinner time.
Painting in singing and to end with a good mal is not bad, Gail!

RYC ; you speak of the tiny flowers of Queen Annes lace and you are right . Who cares of those commun wild plants , so much commun than no one know them . When we observe the small world around us we realize it is gigantic. We pass by beauties without notice them.
I have appreciated your comment ,Gail . Besides the family of plants such Queen Anne laces is so large with numerous species that it is a dispair for the botanist who realizes that he knows nothing!
